Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to leave this comment for anyone else who may be reading this thread in the future...

SP2 has been working like a top at this end for me and my customers. Just make sure to uninstall VFP and then reinstall VFP 9.0 RTM (original CD) and then immediately upgrade the RTM to SP2. The possibility that one of the known bugs in SP2 will turn out to be a showstopper for you are extremely slim - IMHO.
