If you check my answer for your question of Generic way to drop all tables (there where you realize that the server is installed case-sensitive) you will see that I LOOP through results of a View (INFORMATION_SCHEMA.Tables) w/o using a CURSOR. Unfortunately I can't find that message Id right now.
