Good you got it working, though I would avoid public variables. If listbox property doesn't work for you you can use form's property instead.
As for learning .NET for now it's tough for me, since it's huge and in lots of cases I don't know the syntax and researching using google takes time. I guess some good courses may help, often I feel lost :(
Anyway, need to finish the little Windows app I was working on and start working on some real stuff. Also need to finally install versioning software, I almost set my heart to vault, but then again some comments and links sent yesterday by Paul made me want to try subversion one more time but this time on a local PC.
I guess rather than contemplating and hesitating and wasting time I just need to go for it.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
