Ok, I can remove the mask in the Calendar control and I can set it back in GotFocus if the value is empty.

However, there is also a possibility to select a date and then delete it. After that I can type any garbage. So, for me it sounds like there should be a better solution when resetting Mask to nothing.

Any ideas on that before I start ripping this little thing apart?

Thanks a lot in advance.

And one more question, if I may. Is there a way to have analogue of "this" in the object's code? Right now I'm always using full notation in all methods... Doesn't sound right to me.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
