Yeah, people are very excited about that for SQL 08.

At the risk of going off-topic, there's another new data type in SQL 08 - a table type. In .NET, you'll actually be able to pass a datatable (maybe other types of collections, I'm not positive) as a parameter to a stored proc. Many people have wanted this for years, and always had to convert a datatable to either a CSV or XML before passing it - but now you'll be able to pass it directly.
