At least some of the windows issues may be cured by setting .Themes = .F. in your forms.

Not sure where best to buy VFP 9 from Australia. It won't come with SP2, you will have to download and apply that separately. (Or possibly SP1; there are some bugs in SP2 that have caused some to be wary of it).
