I have one application in VFP 5.0 used individually on different machines on Intranet running on TCP/IP .

Now machine A , responds to one event and gives a log and sends that part to machine B. Now machine B, has to take that log and take some action. All the actions are predetermined. So I have specific COM or EXE or APP files which are executed on machine B.

Similarly Machine B generates a log, that is sent to machine A, which does appropriate action.

My soulution :

Put a Table in each machine. generated log will check which Fox Servers are running and adds the row giving input for the action.
All machines check there tables and does appropriate action on a timely basis.

Glitch : All procedures executing on different machines are not synchronized.

Inviting : Any better idea/solution.

Also : Is it possible to run a EXE file on machine B on that machine it-self, with a click on machine A. (Environment mentioned above).
