I suppose just for kicks and grins, we could pull the network cable loose and see what happens and call that our development environment. :) That way, we are forced to properly set up our development environment.

>This problem has nothing to do with using the DBC but from your description, appears to be about a developer not setting up separate development and production databases. The development environment should be separate from the production environment, even if they're on the same machine.
