You would ditch the reader from the company that invented PDFs for a knockoff just because you don't like it checking for updates? Why is that a bad thing?
>Would suggest using Foxit instead of Acrobat as a PDF reader. Free, much faster, and doesn't insist on going to Adobe to look for updates. ( recommended by PC Mag - Google it )
