Hi Gregory,

>I've been in Paris this week (and yes I've had plenty of duck and gratin) for a three day mini devcon of the french user group (at Microsoft's conference center)

Ah, Paris ... one of my favorite cities ...gotta get there this year sometime.

>Been wondering, what would you recommend if you were to start developping today. Do you think ASP (and run on localhost) is a good way to go if one wants to develop the interface only once ?

I don't do any ASP.NET web forms at all ... I'm strictly a WinForms developer (although, I *do* use Web Services to hit the backend).

>Thanks - I've put this in one of my ut folders. I'll be starting the (hughe) net learning curve in a couple of weeks.

You're welcome. We'll be glad to help with any questions you might have (although I won't be much help with web form questions, there are plenty of others here who will).
