>The fact that he's no longer doing "free" stuff (although I will argue with you about SWFox), doesn't mean he supports the community. You're an MVP, so you should understand this: your writing for CoDe counts toward your MVP stauts, but it is a
SNIP... then I'll be the first to email your lead and tell him not to include CoDe in your contributions.
Based on this and KevinGs reply, it seems that MVPs have "leads". Furthermore, it strongly suggests that the "lead" exercises significant control over his/her 'charges'.
And here I thought that the only influence MS had on MVPs was various NDAs that may be required to be signed from time-to-time.
There appears to be much more to membership in the MVP "club" than we (the rabble) have been led to believe. Somewhat like the Masons??????

>>Well, Craig, that's usually what "give away" means. Many people either speak at free events, maintain blogs with technical content, provide free downloads of code samples...do I need to go on?

>>So again, what has Whil done for the community for free, since his return?
