For .net related stuff (which I believe you're interested in, unless of course, the vfp talk has got you soooo excited you want to know what all the excitment is about), Codeproject appears to be the main website.
Tons of whitepapers, code snippet downloads, etc., as well as forums. There are many others as well. Many here have posted blogs that appear to be really good for an occassional read.
But for technical help, you can't go wrong with Codeproject.com.
>Sounds like Tex was having a bad day and needed to pull a trigger. Too bad bad he shot himself in the foot by banning a huge contributer and somebody with a ton of real-world, modern experience. He's hurting his own business and probably could have done a lot better by growing a pair and saying "Suck it up idiot and quit complaining".

>BTW, can somebody make any recommendations on other forums? I've heard MSDN before, but are there others? This site has gotten to be a bit much. There are too many self-proclaimed rock stars throwing their weight around and the butt kissing is annoying.
>
>Also, the tolerance for people making idiotic comments about other poster's dead mothers was way over the line, and deserves banning and more. The internet tough guy routine is getting annoying.

>It's too bad. It's easier to talk to and related to names like Jay Johengen, Mike Beane, Kevin Goff, and Bonnie Berent than random screen names.

>>Michel, out here in front of everyone, tell us why you banned Kevin. Other than you, no one here has found a reason for it.
>>
>>Will you ban me now for asking? Is that what happened to Kevin? He asked for JVP to be brought back?
