I get a "WTF" for saying I'm learning VS2008.
Let me respond with a "ROFLMAO".

Sorry to necro this thread ..
but after reading this i just had to bite...

I'd say the most innovative/exciting new Visual Foxpro tool is VFPStudio and it uses the Visual Studio 2008 Shell. Another innovative product , West Wind Web Connection 5.3 integrates nicely with Visual Studio 2008. Is UT on the dark side because its produced more .NET Level Extreme magazine issues than UTMag issues in the past two years?

This learning path is not much different from 1996 when I knew I'd have to learn Visual Foxpro because I couldn't lean on my Foxpro For DOS skills for ever.

Maybe all these .NET "nuts" should be rounded up and put in a mental health institution...I'm all for it because it'd give me a great chance to hang out with guys like Rick Strahl and Craig Boyd ...
I'm certain I could learn a lot from them.
:)
