Had the same problem. Lots of people got burned. AVG's friday morning March 7th virus def caused the false positive. I supplied them with a program and received back an email from them that it was in fact a false positive. They had also stated that the newer AVG update no longer gave the false positive result. The fix was to have AVG users turn off the RESIDENT SHIELD via the AVG console, then go into the VIRUS VAULT and use the "Restore files to..." option. Then get a more recent AVG virus defs update and turn back on RESIDENT SHIELD. AVG also allows for exclusions which may be helpful.
