I was actually asking Mike G what the practice is at the other site that he occasionally helps to manage. I was wondering if there is a 'standard practice' among the VFP forum sites or if each site is unique in its practice.

>According to posts here, Kevin didn't know he'd been banned until he tried to log on and couldn't. He then emailed Michel and the reply told him, but didn't specify why he'd been banned.

>>Is an email sent to them at the time of banning notifying them specifically why they are banned (perhaps referencing a message) or is it just a case of notifying them that 'you failed to obey the rules?' I'm curious what the standard practice is.
