Simulating multiuser on a single machine. In form User #1 goes to a record, clicks Edit which locks record using lock(). User #2 navigates to same record. When attempts to leave record (skip +1, skip -1), gets error #109 ("Record is in use by another user"). There's no write attempt.

Why is skip command producing error 109?
