Raking my brain...

Lets see; The article was released in Oct 1990 issue. It must have been sometime that next summer that I met Jeff. About 4 or 5 months later the Users Group fell apart. Well, not surprising though, there was only four of us (not including those that came by to hear the speaker or looking for someone to help them.) Our Users Group was the only one (that I knew of) in the Tacoma / Pierce County area. The Seattle group had what appeared to be several hundred members.

I start being a code-jockey nearly thirty years ago. With live in Puget Sound area at the time, it surprises me we never ran into each other.

(Enough thread drift Greg...)

>What time period was this? I was working with Foxbase (and Foxbase+) back in 1985-87 and lived in Tacoma, WA. I didn't know of any other foxpro developers back then. I didn't start visiting online until probably 1996...

>>I first met Jeff at a xBase User Group meeting in Puyallup Washington. He approach me about an article I wrote for FoxTalk that demonstrated OOP techniques using standard FoxPro 1.0 commands (http://www.hope-academic.org.uk/staff/mpitcher/foxpro/foxoop.html). If I recall correctly, it had something to do with a book he was putting together.
