It always drives me nuts that the mouse wheel doesn't work on VFP reports when modifying them in the IDE. It works every place else for me and I am constantly reminded when I need to work on a report that it doesn't.

>>A user of one system I've written, who is quite quick, observed that the mousewheel on her Microsoft mouse would work in a Grid, but does not work in a drop-down combo box. How can we make the mousehweel operational in the drop-down combobox?

>I've found that a lot of mouse wheel behavior depends on drivers or the manufacturer. I have a Microsoft Laser Laptop mouse and the thing is very unpredictable with scroll behavior especially in VFP. Sometimes it works just fine (say in the editor) at other times nothing happens at all.
>
>Not that this helps, but Microsoft Lazer mice in particular have interference issues with the system idle loop which causes problems with some applications (Visual Studio and Visual FoxPro IDE particularily).
>
>Something to consider. If you have an older wired mouse laying around it may be worth trying that out to see different behavior.
