We have experienced very similar problems with most of our PC's using Windows 95.

We have turned off cache writes and made sure that "true commit" is ON. I realized that both will slow our network down, but our data (mostly the CDX's) is more secure.

One statement that I read indicated that this may be a problem with the Novell Client32 support and that a rewrite would be forthcomming.
