Oh please. This has nothing to do with liberal vs. conservative. Just look at the people involved in this thread and which side they appear to have taken. For example, I've almost never agreed with anything David Stevenson has said on other then tech topics, and he appears to be in favor of some of these bannings.

This has more to do with the type of people who are comfortable changing the channel on their own. Or think that because they don't want to hear something, noone else should hear it either.

My experience is that those who are comfortable with their own sense of self-worth, and are comfortable in self-judging their own level of knowledge/skill level, have no problems with the the type of discussions that have taken place here.

What is so bad about someone reporting something that is suspicious so that the proper authorities can check it out?

>>>>Unintentional. No, reporting a crime is fine. Trying to get someone banned by crying foul is another. I think some of these people need to look in their own houses and why they are doing something before they go running to the teacher. By the way, it's a nice tight group you guys got going.

Anyone who reports something to him is not necessarily "feeling that they are the police" but more likely "feeling that they are being good citizens of the UT community."

>>>Wow, She did?
>>>hmmm... I haven't been around much since changing career, but I've never known Kevin to do something worth being banned. I thought he contributed much to UT.
>>>Interesting.......
>>
>>He has and I think it's alot of running around about nothing, but there are some who feel it's their job to maintain the peace for the good of all the children and those are the ones that also seem to have the most influence on our grand MF. As much as anyone can tell, Kevin either got banned for nothing, or for something someone thinks he did. I haven't heard anything else. It sucks and people involved should be ashamed of themselves.
