>>>No, policemen are good. What bothers me is when people feel that they are the police.
>>
>>You bypassed part of my question. So, does it irk you when a citizen reports a crime to the authorities? How about reporting a possible crime or a suspicion for further investigation? What is so bad about someone reporting something that is suspicious so that the proper authorities can check it out?
>
>Unintentional. No, reporting a crime is fine. Trying to get someone banned by crying foul is another. I think some of these people need to look in their own houses and why they are doing something before they go running to the teacher. By the way, it's a nice tight group you guys got going.

>>In the case of the UT site, Michel is of course the policeman, the mayor, the legislature or town council, and the ultimate potentate. Anyone who reports something to him is not necessarily "feeling that they are the police" but more likely "feeling that they are being good citizens of the UT community."
>>
>>That is -- IF anyone reported anything.

>Tamar already said she did.
If JVP had e-mailed me (and the 3 or so times he did while still a member here were not informational) and quoted someting I had written on UT, I too would have contcted MichelF.
I can't imagine that JVP had something flattering that he wanted to say to TamarG.

>UPDATE: By the way, I thought you weren't talking to me anymore?
