I do believe that there are real threats prevented by various security
activities. Question is how meny of those threats are directly caused by those covert operations and generally by simply wrong and dishonest foreign policies in the past decades. (Violence is like a liquid in connected vessels)

Should you be really all that greatfull, if some 'Cop' jumped and saved your
life, after PD (or more likely city Major office!) directly caused your life to be constantly in danger. For instance by constantly harrasing some minority and making their life misserable so they keep on rioting the streets.
(I believe You undertand this is all figurative speech)

My point is, why agree to live like this ??
I believe more productive would be to Suck the Major & few PoliceChiefs, bring someone who can make peace with minorities, and live in peace afterwards. Peace will not come right away but will eventually happen if you do the right thing.
The best places on planet are those cities where Cops does not have to carry guns at all, because there is no need for it.

I tend to feel much more secure when nobody have to save my life every day. You catch my drift ?
