Has he just been stating facts that nobody wants to hear?Which facts would those be?
IMHO we need to move away from dissecting all this, and focus on resolution. Right now, KG and MF are on their respective battlements peering at each other. Nothing will change unless one of them moves. We can all pile into one or other castle to demonstrate our support, but what has actually changed?
All I can say is the same as I said in one of those threads that I suspect contributed to this. WHY will Michel do it. What will he get from it? If the answer is "or else" then I very much doubt he'll shift. If the answer is obviously to his and our advantage, then he might. I've done my best to look for answers along those lines but believe I have failed, so if anybody has a better idea, I'm happy to take instruction.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
