>Tell me, did KevinG introduce the same subjects or highjack threads to belittle VFP (more appropriately .NET too) >and its adherents in the UT's .NET forum?
Kevin Goff helped me with technical stumbling blocks with Crystal Reports and Visual Studio 2005. I'm happy for that....
I also develop in VFP and if Kevin Goff wants to take a cheap shot at me for doing so... I can take the heat.
Kevin never did take a cheap shot at me though.
Quality criticism.. yes.
this is a free forum... and a good one...
i just want to get my job done...
if people wanna take shots at me.... even cheap shots .... fire away...
I'm very happy with the Universal Thread...
If I continue to get quality practical technical advice then the people in here can take all the cheap shots they want...
bring it on....
>Even you, who rarely has anything good to say about VFP any more, only chime in periodically with troll-bait about >VFP and the folks here.
I guess you missed my comments regarding VFPStudio and WestWind?
Interestingly, both products leverage Visual Studio 2008 technologies.
We are 80 days away from VFPStudio...
Are you excited? I'm excited.
It's this innovation and excitement and the "wow this is so f'n cool" that drives me forward in this profession. I could name a dozen different VFP milestones that made me feel this way. Unfortunately, I feel this way less and less often when Visual Foxpro is in the foreground window.
In 1998 VFP 6 was an amazing product.
VFP is just not "amazing" any longer. As new technologies emerge VFP becomes more and more limited. I wish I didn't have to learn new technologies then my rates could go up every couple of years. Within its domain VFP is a solid tool.
