We are using the Dynazip Max 5 ActiveX controls. I updated it a year or two ago. One thing you might consider; the Zip format is a standard. Another Zip program should be able to read the files. Take a look at http://www.sweetpotatosoftware.com/spsblog/
and click on a link 'VISUAL FOXPRO' in that page do a search for ZIP and follow the links for more info. You will find the VFP Compresson FLL download link. I have not used it but it's worth looking at. Craig Boyd creates great software. I'm using his encryption FLL.
