>>As You said it must have been more then just one thing that happened, amounting to final decision. I don't believe for a moment that it was 'impulse' decision by MichaelF.

Me to.

I wish more less everybody returned but with somewhat adjusted disposition/attitude. It wld hv been good if there was some sort of warning system (one yelow card at least!) in place rather then this, one punch / knock out system.

Everybody have good and bad days in life, sometime we think straight sometime under various stresses/frustrations we (over)react. When someone would receive serious warning from UT admin, then he would know that what he is doing is wrong and would have chance to rectify it.
Then life could go on.

As for more quiet UT;
UT *should* calm down little bit, and then maybe pick up some sort of more creative 'tensions'. There is so meny good things happening out there that could be important for VFP. Take VFPX/Sedna for instance!

It is loaded with projects that need pairs of good hands, and all that passes by relatively unnoticed here because everybody is busy reading 300 messages elephant threads every spare time they get. And there are plenty capable hands here that could use their time lot better by undertaking some part in it, then spending it on chatter forum.

You could start now 10 new threads here, one for every cool new project that is being done out there, and You would be lucky if you got 3-4 repplies.
You mention VFPvsNET or Bush/Iraq/Chaney/Iran and k-boom; You get brawl of 50-350 (re)heated messages.

350 messages could be easily 350 methods added or tested in various community projects on VFPX. Then people would have lot better subjects to energeticaly discuss here.
I would like to see this kind of 'tensions' going on here.

Just thinking loud...

Cheers :)
Sergio
