We are Microsoft Retail Management System and Microsoft POS resellers. Both use SQL Express for data storage.

I've written a number of custom add-ons and lots and lots of custom reports for them using VFP and SSRS.

RMS is very scalable and is VERY stable. We've been dealing with it for years. I highly recommend it.
