>>FoxRockx will be a must have resource for all VFP developers!

>Wow! I was very busy for the past week and didn't see this announcement until today! This is fabulous news for the Fox community, especially the fact that the FoxTalk back issues are included in the deal. Once Eli bought FoxTalk and proceeded to start destroying the magazine, I had feared that the back issues would be lost forever.
>
>I don't know all of the inside scoop of who is doing what with this deal, but the fact that Rainer Becker is behind it makes it a wonderful development. He (and any others involved) will have a tough time convincing the subscribers who were driven away by Eli to return, and based on the comments in this thread, will probably have a hard time convincing some of us here to subscribe.
>
>That said, I'm ready to jump in this week and subscribe to help make this venture successful, and I encourage you all to do the same. Having been on the production side of two magazines in the past, I know the struggles involved in getting good content and producing a quality publication without losing money in the process.
>
>Some are complaining about a small number pages for XX dollars, but those pages will be full of absolutely fabulous content -- I'm sure of that, knowing the people involved and hearing hints of top writers getting involved. Magazines that attract good subscription and advertising revenue have been known to grow beyond the initial small size.
>
>Let's all give our support by subscribing for a year, and then give them that year to convince us to continue by what they deliver!

I'm with you. After skimming over one of the longest threads of irrelevant chest-beating and waffle I've ever seen on UT (and there's been a bit over the years) - good to see someone sticking to the idea of the original post!

I'm subscribing straight away with the plan of reviewing the investment after 12 months.
Cheers,
Jamie
