Oakleaf call it an "evaluation version" instead. See

I'm fairly sure it's a fully functioning copy of the MM.NET product, without the source code and with a few nag messages. Disclaimer: I have the full product.

Don't see why not, although I haven't tried it. But MM.NET 3.5 for VS 2008 is likely to come out in a matter of weeks (maybe even days).
