Dear Ransome,

I answered your questions in my other message. First of all, forget about using a general field before you "paint yourself into a corner". A general field is TROUBLE!!

My suggestion is to do one of the following:
1: Leave all the pictures as separate files, and store the file name in a field in your table.
Or 2: Upgrade to VFP9 and use the new BLOB field type which is meant for storing pictures.

To show the picture you do NOT use the OLEboundcontrol, you use the image control.
