I recently moved a 2.6 app to VFP5. I had to change a few window sizes, but all seemed well until I noticed that some fields displayed with @... GET were not showing up with all characters displayed, regardless of the PICT clause. The correct values are in the mvar, so it's just a display problem. This only manifests when running the .exe version of the system. When running under the full VFP environment everything looks fine.

I managed to find that I can work around the problem by adding a SIZE clause to the GET statement and making the width a little bigger than should be necessary (for an 8 character mvar I use a width of 10), but I would like to avoid going through the entire app and patching each GET. Has anyone heard of this? Is there an easier workaround?
