Be sure you catch the piece on The Making of ...

They really made an effort to get it right on this one. Virtually every line of dialogue can be verified from writings of the speakers. Tom Wilkinson's Franklin is certainly deserving of an award and Washington is probably the best portrayal we've ever seen.

'Our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor' I really liked McCullough's book but being able to bring it to life like this is something very special. Wish they would do it with 'Founding Brothers'. This is what history has always looked like to me in my head. Never was able to understand how someone could find history boring.
