I'm pretty sure I tried this, before I posted I played with changing each of the private data sessions to default (one at a time of course) and it didnt seem to make a difference. Possible because their isnt really a parent relationship between the forms, they are independent of each other with one showing original data values and the other showing the same info but audited or revised values. So if the user does happen to open both at same time we needed to add some extra functionality. Cetin's 2nd of 2 solutions solved my problem perfectly by using DBF(). Thanks for the comment!
