>Hope you didn't cancel your HBO after The Wire before John Adams started. Talk about red meat for history geeks. I confess I cannot watch that stuff without getting misty eyed. 'Our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor' I really liked McCullough's book but being able to bring it to life like this is something very special. Wish they would do it with 'Founding Brothers'. This is what history has always looked like to me in my head. Never was able to understand how someone could find history boring. These people were *real*.
HBO is still coming in as part of a free 3 month trial that came with the Dish Network. I will probably cancel it after that. The "John Adams" miniseries is being recorded but I haven't watched any episodes yet.
