It's interesting that it wasn't publicized more. I only caught a blurb on the news today - the evening before his arrival. I would bet no one except those at the school even know about it. Whenever the protestors gather here to promote 'bring the troops home' there is always a larger gathering of those in support of the military and the war in Iraq. Interesting considering no one wants to be there but no one that I know who actually has to go wants to leave without the country in a good place.

>>10:00 am at Fayetteville Tech. Not open to the public, however, it will be televised. Interesting that he shows up at a military town (and Fort Bragg is one of the largest military bases), but then he is speaking at the college. We'll see how it goes :o)

>I have to say that after listening to him say that he will definitely withdraw all US troops from Iraq in 2009 (no matter what the result) while simultaneously slashing defense research funding, it is my fervent hope that he is unemployed next year. Blaming Bush only goes so far when we give terrorists the upper hand.
