I have found 47 posts with an outburst that could be attributed to disliking a pro-NET message. However, in *every case* the reaction was spurred not by the content but by the spiteful delivery. I have *not* seen a message where a polite comment has resulted in antagonism. In fact, in more than a few threads there is rational discussion of the topic until a saboteur appears with a spiteful one-liner that derails the thread.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
