Further to previous- there was also a handful of discontented posts in 2005 about NET conversion services and seminars advertised in the "conferences and events" section of the VFP forum. Some thought that cheeky; others thought such posts belonged in the NET forum. Many supported inclusion in the VFP forum. The discussion was tense but generally polite- until a saboteur decided to call somebody else a moron and assert that people with IQs <50 should not be allowed to post on UT. You can probably guess which side of the fence the last fellow was on. Hint- not the VFP side. ;-)
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
