I just made a grid and put this code in the delete event;

IF RECNO() > 1
NODEFAULT
ENDIF

and I ran the form. I could delete and undelete record 1 but clicking on the delete mark of any other record did nothing at all.

What code do you have in the delete event, are you moving the roecord pointer in the grid's recordsource, are you changing anything about the environ=ment for the gred?
