Does the PS3 play regular dvds and hd dvds as well or will I still need my dvd player?
>>I have so many DVDs I don't even want to think about Blu-Ray. Seriously. I am very happy with the picture and have an investment in the existing technology. Case closed <g>.

>Mike, even the regular DVDs look much better in HD, and the PS3 does a very good up-converting job (well you need a HD TV too). I think I might have around 100+ regular DVD's and just 10 HD and I am not thinking of replacing the old ones with HD versions, I try to buy Blue-Rays for new movies but if I see a movie I like in regular DVD at a good price I still buy it (well, provided that my wife is not looking)
