Both SQL Server 6.5 and 7.0 will only run on a Windows NT server. Windows NT and NetWare can both run on the same network so there's no reason that you couldn't use SQL Server 7.0 on the same network as a NetWare server, but you'll need an NT server to run it. Well, that's not really true. SQL Server 7.0 will also run on NT Workstation or even Windows 95, but the only network OS it runs on is still Windows NT Server.

>Does anyone know if SQL Server 7.0 will run on Novell 4.11 networks? I know that 6.5 does but I can not confirm this for 7.0 at Microsoft's web site.
