I did install AVAST AV on her PC last time I reformatted but no fire wall. I am thinking about buying a Ghost of some other image program to to store the hard drive image, in case I have to rebuild it again. This is a good idea. But in a few months she will be going to college and wants me to buy her a Mac.
>I warned someone here about it for that very reason (it may have been Jay). I have a firewall, adware, and spysweeper setup specifically for that purpose. I also have an image of her harddrive that I can use if necessary to go back to a healthy clean state.
