Luckily, there are many who don't agree with your line of thinking:

http://www.boston.com/news/nation/washington/articles/2008/03/20/hagel_us_may_need_new_political_party/?rss_id=Boston.com+--+Latest+news

"a reckless foreign policy ... that is divorced from a strategic context."

The current administration has been able to continue down the road they chose because of the 29%'ers such as yourself who will blindly follow them. Those who believe that if you question the govt's policies on this you must be a terrorist supporter.

I just hope for the sake of the world that enough people who don't like what's going on step up.

Thanks to people like you who support what our govt is doing, the terrorists have won. Our standard of living is lower and no one knows where the bottom is, some of our civil liberties have disappeared, and our way of life has been eroded over the last 7 yrs.

>>He also said that his plan would take 16 months to bring all the troops home from Iraq.
>>
>>He also said that the reason he would increase troop deployment to Afghanistan is because that's where Bin Laden and Al Queda are most active
>>
>>Did you actually read the text of his speech?

>So the terrorists will all go back to Afghanistan and not savor their victory against the US in Iraq. they certainly wouldn't exploit their victory and the sudden weakness of the Iraqi government to consolidate their gains in Iraq, right? Their victory wouldn't be a great incentive for other Islamics to join up to go ahead and topple Saudi Arabia (on of bin Ladens favorite targets) or Kuwait, or head for the west bank and hit the Isrealis, right? They wouldn't decide to increase efforts to kill us in the US since they beat us in Iraq, right? Iran wouldn't exploit a great power vacuum since they are such nice guys, right?
>
>Everyone will become friends everywhere except in Afghanistan. Islam will suddenly become cozy with non Islamics, dogs and cats will play together, and the world will be as one.
>
>I get it now.
