I understand now. In my application I do all updates using VFP stored procedures. That is, the ASP.NET calls various VFP stored procedures. The VFP stored procedures are not using SQL update and SQL insert but APPEND and REPLACE. Maybe this is why I have not run into any problems with bugs in the provider.
