His reasons for making his material unavailable were (according to my understanding and the most recent post on the wiki confirms this) simply because he thought since the material was so old, it should be made available to the general public (like the other publications do), not just to FoxRocks subscribers. The first post on the link didn't mention any of that, only that he refused to make his material available and threatened a lawsuit (or so I understood when I read it).
