Our Terms & Conditions have always been clear on that. "Relocalize a thread into a more appropriate location" discusses it. With the amount of threads we move on a regular basis, the previously notification system has been dropped as it was mostly annoying for everyone. The thread remains. All the links in regards to it remain as well so is all upcoming replies in regards to the member who created it. This is why everything is organized the way it is on this site. Otherwise, there wouldn't be any need to have forums if everything would have been kept as is and completely mixed up.
