>I need to code for a way to take care saving 2 different values in one option group field. I have a numeric field in the table called supported, and if the first option button is selected it needs to save a 1. If the other option button is selected, It needs to save a 0 in the supported field. Right now it just saving a 1 and 2, the default values in the option group.
>What code would I need in which method to save for supported=1 or supported=0 instead of supported=1 or supported=2? I can elaborate further if this is not clear.

Option for date of week Thread #1057746

Also your case sounds more for checkbox than option group.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
