Some may have followed some related threads in the SQL Server forum recently where I have observed that specific things do happen when the SQL command is executed from the ASP.NET Web site but not from SSMS. I do have some stats on that today. There is definitely something else being executed such as verifying the data and so on. Because when I execute the same SQL command from the site, it takes 56 seconds. But, when I execute it from SSMS, it is a flash. I have the result instantly. There is only one record and all the indexes are properly created.
So, could this be related to the verification on constraints or something in regards to that?
