If, as in your case, you only need CA for select statement, you don't need to make per each table. I don't have code in front of me, but for one of my older project I made CA for the Search form and updated SelectedCMD property on the fly.
See if you can make something out of this idea and if not, I may have to dig for the code (it's on a different PC, so this process is a bit complicated).
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
