That's kind of what I was thinking. They showed the dime that was used to unscrew the grill, and that's what Anton used before. I think he got the money and went out the back. That's why the sheriff was looking at the unlocked bathroom window. Well, it was probably about 3 days later as the wife was just coming back from her mother's funeral, but that was plenty of time to stash the money, or take it back to somebody.
