>>I think at this point, it could go either way, but definitely Obama or McCain. I think Obama will probably win unless he really does something to implode (that can be attributed to him).

>He was asked "point blank", if he had ever heard his preacher say the things he had heard on the videos, and he replied, in several venues, that he had not. A few days later, he changed his story and tried to pass the racist off as a crazy old uncle. We don't choose our uncles, we do choose our pastors. He stayed in that church for 20 years hearing all that hatred being spewed and it has apparently had a profound influence on him, his wife and his kids. Why do you think he won't wear a little flag lapel pin or salute the flag? Isn't that behavior congruous with his pastor's beliefs? Why do you think his wife said she had never been proud of this country until it looked like her husband had a shot at being elected president? Once again, that notion jives with the preacher's concept of a rich, white controlled America.

>I don't know about you, but he makes me very uncomfortable. If he will lie about little things, he will have no problem lying about the big stuff.

It's not sticking. Obama's poll numbers are already bouncing back from the dip they took over his former minister's remarks.

That thing about the flag pin is the ultimate political BS. Are you saying he doesn't love his country if he doesn't wear a flag pin? (And did you know the guy who first expressed "outrage" about this was not wearing a flag pin himself? It's on YouTube somewhere). Also, what is this about not saluting the flag? Are you saying Obama won't? That's a new one to me and I have been listening to crap from the Clinton camp for weeks now. Heck, the Repubs don't even have to go after him, the Clintons will do it for them. I'd like to tie the two of them to a raft and push it out to sea.

There, I feel better <g>.
